Sarah Knutson began her dance journey in Baltimore, Maryland in the preparatory division of the Peabody Institute; she later attended Baltimore School for the Arts in their dance department. While training in Baltimore she had the opportunity to work with master teachers and choreographers in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary dance. During her senior year of high school Sarah relocated to South Beach, Miami to train at the Miami City Ballet School in their pre-professional program. Upon graduating high school, she attended Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, under the direction of Sarah Wroth. In  2021, Sarah placed first in the  National Society of Arts and Letters National Competition in Dance. She graduated college in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet and an Outside Field in Law and Public Policy. Since graduating college, Sarah has been dancing ballet professionally across the country at Avant Chamber Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego, and now Nevada Ballet Theater here in Las Vegas.
